2024 Selinske U.S. Masters — Round 2 Recap

There were plenty of moves on Friday — one day before the official moving day — at the 2024 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Disc Golf Championships presented by Innova.
Eight of the 23 divisions have new leaders and 13 are separated by fewer than four strokes heading into Round 3 and the ensuing cut on Saturday.

Here's a look around some of the action in the Cary, North Carolina area:
- North Carolina's Scott Conway extended his lead to three strokes with a 9-under round at Diavolo. His round was matched by Cale Leiviska, who jumped into a tie for second with Matthew Blakely. They're three strokes back of Conway.
- Sarah Hokom dropped the hottest round of the day by five strokes and is tied at the top with Jennifer Allen. The tour have separated from the rest of the field by seven strokes.
- Things are very interesting in MP50 with JohnE McCray pulling into a tie for first with Barry Schultz after a 7-under round at Buckhorn. The hot round of the day — 9-under — went to Brian Schweberger, who jumped into solo third, two shots back.
- In MA65, there's a three-way tie between Mike Hughes, Robert Rothman and George Bodiroga.
- Other new leaders heading into the weekend include:
- Laurie Cloyes-Chupa in FP60 by four strokes.
- Bobby Jones in MP65 by two strokes.
- Benjamin Weise in MA40 by one stroke.
- Tom Raub in MA60 by four strokes.
- Janet Cranshaw in FA60 by four strokes.
- Here are the rest of the closest battles:
- Blaine Faulkner leads Hank Kirwan by one in MP55.
- Mark Horn leads Harvey Brandt and Randy Beers by three in MP70.
- James Huestis kept is lead and is up by one stroke on Steve Ganz and Rad Roberts.
- Kimberly Adams leads by two over Toni Morgan.
