Gannon Buhr has his gameplan on the course and one for the final PDGA Major of 2024.
"Sticking to the same plan," Buhr told the Disc Golf Network's Nate Perkins of any changes for Round 3. "I just want to be in contention going into Sunday."
Those plans worked out well on Friday at the 2024 United States Disc Golf Championship.

Buhr fired off the hottest round of the day in calmer conditions at Winthrop University — an 11-under round that has him tied with Anthony Barela at the midway point in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Buhr led in fairway hits and strokes gained tee-to-green at 7.24 and had just one bogey on Friday to erase a two-stroke deficit.
Barela followed with a strong 9-under par with two bogies and, with Buhr, is 18-under through 36 holes.
Isaac Robinson sits in solo third place, just two strokes back. 2009 USDGC champion Nikko Locastro joins the lead card after his stellar 10-under round and is three strokes back.
