DISC GOLF PRO TOUR ELITE SERIES

A familiar name and chaos at the top of the leaderboard: There’s nothing weird about the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s return to Portland.

Keeping in line with 2023 so far, Kristin Tattar is leading and there’s a five-way in MPO after the opening round of the 2023 DGPT – Portland Open presented by Latitude 64, the first Elite+ event of the year.

Also keeping up with a trend: There’s a large number of players right in the mix. In MPO, 15 players are within three strokes of the lead. Tattar is the solo leader at 5-under and six players are within three.

After two weekends of Silver Series Events, the Disc Golf Pro Tour heads back to Oregon for the 2023 Portland Open Presented by Latitude 64. As well as being the 13th event on the 2023 DGPT schedule, this year’s Portland Open will be the first ever Elite+ Event. This new designation is shared by the upcoming Discraft Ledgestone Open and will feature higher purses, additional media focus, and 150% points awarded, the same as PDGA Majors and DGPT playoff events.

The top pros returned to Swenson Park in Stockton, California for the final round of the 2023 OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports. While the FPO field ended with a repeat winner, a new champion was crowned for the MPO field.
