2024 PDGA Champions Cup — Round 3 MPO Recap
Andrew Presnell has 11 A-Tier wins, 57 B-Tier wins and 97 starts at PDGA Majors and on the Elite Series.
On Championship Sunday at the 2024 PDGA Champions Cup, he'll make his debut on a final card at a Major for the first time.
Presnell emerged at the end of a wild and long day at Northwood Park in Morton, Illinois with a one-stroke lead. He entered Sunday six strokes back of the lead and used a strong finish to be the first player to tee off on Sunday's final card.

After a lengthy weather delay then darkness on Friday, Round 2 resumed at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday and the MPO field returned to Northwood for Round 3 in the afternoon.
Casey White grew his lead from one to three strokes after Saturday morning. Meanwhile, Presnell climbed 24 spots into a tie for fourth and a spot on the lead card on Saturday afternoon, six strokes back. After a strong start, White stumbled down the stretch of the long day while Presnell — for the second time that day — birdied the final three holes.
The leaderboard was wild throughout all of it. Ezra Robinson and Joseph Anderson, who had the hot round of 5-under in Round 2 to jump to second place, grabbed the outright or a share of the lead at times and finished 4-under and 2-under, respectively. They're tied at 10-under, just one stroke back.
Niklas Anttila fired off a 5-under round to jump to solo fourth place — three strokes back.
White drops to the top of the chase card and is four strokes back. Joining him are Ricky Wysocki, Calvin Heimburg and Chris Dickerson, all tied and five strokes out of the lead.
It was a demanding day on an even more demanding course and there's 18 holes left to crown a PDGA Major champion.
