PDGA Euro Tour #1 — Pro Forester
DAY 2 - SATURDAY
FPO
Players from 24 countries are playing in the thick forests of Varaždin at the Pro Forester presented by Vall Tours in a clear proof that many players from Central and Southern Europe are willing to join PDGA Euro Tour.
Marianne Must (Team Latitude 64 Estonia) is a still not widely known player that is performing at the highest level and is keeping first place after two rounds in what could become her first ever PDGA FPO victory: what a way to start an international career!
Slovakian Katka Bodová is second six strokes behind while Andreja Bernjak (Slovenia) gives a big step ahead up to third spot on the podium relegating Czech Nikola Moravcová to fourth.
In case you missed it, round one coverage is available now:
MPO
In MPO, most of the fans were anticipating the duel between 6x World Champion Paul McBeth and Czech star Jakub Semerád and that's what we've got!
The American got a -9 round which, in his own words, was good but not great as he aspires to a -12 or -14 for Sunday round! Semerád shaved two strokes to his Friday round and stands second 5 strokes away from victory. Will his upwards trend be enough to catch the Californian?
Not too many players had clear references of Australian Luke Bayne that had played mostly in his country and holds third position while living legend Scott Stokely showed that his 54 years are no obstacle to fight face to face with some of the best young discgolfers in the world.
Gallery is growing each round and this lead card promises spectacle for the final round to decide who wins the first event of this 2023 PDGA Euro Tour . Do not miss it!
