Course Reviews
This is a course that has potential.
Good
1. Pretty environment
2. Interesting course with some fun layouts
Bad
1. No hole markers. You have to guess length and pin placements. It is very confusing to try and find the next tee box
2. Over crowded
3. Lots of people either high or drunk. Not a place to take kids
Went on a weekend and it was packed. Had a nice single player in front of us who was helping us find the next tee box (you had to guess most of the time or follow a regular). Some how a group of 3 crowed in between us (they came from out of nowhere on the 6th hole. One was so high and drunk he fell over 4 times while teeing off and lost his disk 3 times (we found it and returned it). Then that same group tried to take my disk on a hole where you throw over a hill and I caught them as they were walking away with it. It is the people more than the course that gives this a bad rating. I wouldn't trust my car, wallet or disks with the people at this course. Lots of loud drunk people, others with unleashed dogs, and just very bad manners. The single player we met early seemed ok and was helpful but he seemed to be the exception not the norm.
First home course.
Lots of different shots required. Nice mix of elevation, wooded, and creek shots. Course spread out nicely through a big park.
Some signs say par 4 & 5, but course should be played par 54. There are no true par 4 holes.
Course can be very crowded, and there are many occasions I've heard of cars getting broken into in the parking lot.
Pro: nice course with good variety of holes. Baskets are moved frequently.
Cons: A lot of people using this course practice poor ettiquette by playing holes out of order or playing with very large groups. A lot of underage alcohol and drug use.
Easily the best course I've played in Nebraska. Great variety of pars (3-5). The pins are shuffled frequently enough that you usually never play the same round more than a couple days a week. Plenty of up and down hill holes with nice tree obstacles. A pretty respectful crowd of public players.
There could be a better process for determining where the pins have moved to, and sometimes the par on the sign doesn't represent the actual par value of the hole when the pin is in deep or hidden locations.
Excellent course overall. I bring any new players I find to this course first and they love it.

pro: dual cement tees, good variety of hole length, good use of elevation changes
con: busy course and an unprotected parking lot

In the process of a facelift.
Currently, no posted map or pars.
Pretty fair par 3 course.
Use the street level tee for hole 5.
Hole 11 is my favorite.
Not as many dirt bags hanging around as there used to be.
Much better crowd in recent months.
