Rotary DGC (at Frank Lorino Park) is Morristown's most versatile course. While it's not the longest, shortest, most open, or most wooded... it definitely has a great mix of all of these elements. Rotary was first put in ground as an 18 hole course but has since been extended to having 2 baskets on every single hole. That's right, now you can come to this course and chose if you want to play the short pins (yellow Innova backets) or the long pins (blue Prodigy baskets). While the blue pins are more intended for professional players, lots of the holes are still very fun and playable for players of all levels. The original layout is unfortunately now unplayable due to two new basket locations on Hole 12, but you can still play the majority of the original layout which will result in a mix of yellow and blue pins. Or you could play an "all new pins" layout which would also be a mix of yellow and blue pins. Whichever way you decide to play this course, may it be short, long, old, or new, I can guarantee that you are going to enjoy this course. As I said in the introduction of this review, this course has a great mix of long/short holes and open/wooded holes. In addition to this, there are plenty of elevation changes as well as a great mix of left/right playing holes. This course pretty much has it all. If you are in the area and only have time to play one course in Morristown, this should be the one as it has the most options for play that you can choose for yourself. If you want to see this course on video, check out the playlist below with tons of videos showing off the original layout, the new layout, the yellow pins, and the blue pins.
