An object-to-object course:
• Objects are trees and structures of the course.
• Tee-off object: When playing a hole, players must start near the tee-off object. During the first throw, all points of contact with the ground must be within 2m of the base (or skirt) of the tee-off object (note: the run-up may start outside the area).
• Target object: the goal is to reach the target object with the fewest number of throws. The hole is completed when the disc touches the area of the target marked between the two white lines, or touches one of the lines.
• The marked areas simulate the opening height of a disc golf basket (75cm from the ground, 45cm in height).
• If you cannot find the white lines, you can approximate the area; for an average adult, the area will range between the hip and arm pit height. If you mark the lines, use chalk or wax crayons; do not damage the tree's trunks.
• Most target objects are trees and the target area is on their trunk. Some trees have 2 marked trunks, thus touching any of them is correct. One target object is a metal post; the same principle applies.
• The course is in a public park; be mindful of other users and fauna.
• Be mindful of surrounding private properties.
• Some target objects are not always visible; use spotters and helpers when needed.
• The bike path (and everything west of it), streets and all private properties are out-of-bounds.
• The course starts south of Donald street.
