Made our first trip to Maui so brought some discs to play a few rounds and played this course 3 times. There’s a total of 6 baskets but the designers have attempted to make it 18 by changing the layout 3 different ways for each hole. Trying to follow the layout for all 18 was too confusing so I just played the same counterclockwise course 3 times each round I played.
The course is set up around a circular concrete walking path that goes around a baseball field to the north and an open field to the south. Only a couple of holes have a true tee box; other times your just teeing off along the walking path. As you are playing along the walking path you have to be mindful of other park goers. More than once I had to wait to tee off so a jogger/walker could pass by. Short holes with only one hole over 300 feet. Non-technical course that pretty wide open with minimal trees. 1st hole is narrow shooting up hill and can get tricky as if you throw long, you are out of bounds, down a hill, and into the highway (don’t ask me how I know - found out the hard way). Hole two OOB to right over fence and same highway comes into play. My favorite hole is 4 as you are teeing off downhill with an ocean view in the distance and pin is placed among some trees at about 225. Pin is easily drivable but trees make it a touch challenging.
All in all not a “must play” course but take it for what it is and that is a way to get in some tosses if you happen to be vacationing on that side of the island.
