Description

A public course on the Lazy W Conservation District. The course is gated but can be accessed by the public, contact course manager Cody Robson (903) 258-3753 with any questions or issues.

Mostly open pasture with some trees throughout - most fairways provide obstacles. Two holes have water in play - potential lost discs.

Directions

From downtown Athens; go south on Hwy 19 toward Palestine. Take a left on FM 1615 across from Athens Middle School. Follow that road a few miles to a left on FM 4517. Follow FM 4517 about half a mile to the dead end gate. Go through gate and follow dirt road straight to the course. May have to get out to open a gate or 2 along the way. Please be sure to close gates behind you to keep wildlife within property.
