This is the shorter of the two courses at Elon. It should score more in the 3 link range, in my opinion. This two link rating I give is merely to help move the rating towards that 3 links. (the first review was from before the listing was split to reflect the two courses - does the park with both courses deserve at least a 4 rating? You bet!)

Yeah, Elon gets a five link rating from me, and I don't give five links to any one disc golf course.I still don't....Elon is now TWO COURSES!!!Elon, short tees and long tees are fast and fun. They are good for a half hour of ace running for most serious players, which is great. But, in 2010, we get the "Angry Beaver", or "Elong" course that is nothing at all like the original course. You have bunches of fours with a few threes, and some amazing fives.Hole five is what disc golf is all about, big par five with a landing zone mando on your first shot. One of those have to keep it in bounds or else kind of holes, that I love and hate.Elon is now a great park for throwing for all skill levels, and the traffic in the park has rocketed because of it.But, so far, no bad back-ups in play. But, I have never met a disc golfer in Charlotte, that will not let me play through if I ask.Respect is a two way street, remember, be courteous to those behind and in front of you always.Hole ten has a bench for mental gathering, and it is brand new course trash cans are scarce, so pack in and pack out.In Charlotte littering on our courses is considered a crime punishable by death, so keep that in mind.
Elon Park has two great courses ready to please.Any skill level will be rewarded for the drive there. If you have never had an ace it might be your lucky day, and if you are a bird-man normally, play "Elong" course and see how the other half lives. Thanks CDGC, and Stan McDaniel for making us swear loudly in the woods once again.
