2023 Throw Pink Women's Disc Golf Championship

With one last round to go, the FPO field made their way through Winthrop Arena for Championship Sunday of the 2023 Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship.

Despite the difficulty of the OB-lined fairways and a windy third round at Winthrop, at least one player managed to score double-digits each day. The final round seemed to be set up for a battle on the lead card as each player had shot a 10-under or better round throughout the weekend.

The wind picked up as the FPO field made their way through Winthrop Arena in Round 3 of the 2023 Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship.

While the course averaged almost a full stroke higher, the wind couldn’t stop yet another double-digit hot round from being scored.

The FPO field took to Winthrop Arena once again for Round 2 of the 2023 Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship.

After setting new records in Round 1, the field broke those records in Round 2 with 223 birdies, 21 under-par scores, and a +0.53 average score, according to StatMando. While Eveliina Salonen and Henna Blomroos played just well enough to stay on top of the leaderboard, Ella Hansen and Holyn Handley shot the two hottest rounds to jump up to the lead card.

The field came out swinging at Winthrop to open the 2023 Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship on Thursday.

Nineteen players finished under par, the best collective round in the short history of the TPWDGC and one of a few records broken as a whole, according to StatMando.

At the top, three Europeans and a 16-year-old lead the way.
