Membership 2025 FAQs

Why is "international" membership a different price than for those in Canada and USA?

  • Members located outside of the U.S. and Canada (international members) may also pay a fee required by their national organization. In other instances, members may be located in a country developing its PDGA membership infrastructure. These circumstances are reflected in their PDGA member dues.

What are the member benefits? 

  • New and renewing members receive the following: 
    • Lifetime PDGA member number  
    • PDGA player rating to track your progress at PDGA sanctioned tournaments  
    • Access to compete in PDGA sanctioned tournaments around the world and qualify to compete in PDGA Majors  
    • Free content throughout the year and a deep discount to a Disc Golf Network subscription  
    • Digital version of DiscGolfer Magazine — the official publication of the PDGA  

Where are the membership items? 

  • Please be advised that your Membership Package, Birdie Club, and/or Ace Club add-on is a pre-order, and your items will ship January 2025. Our fulfillment partner, MVP Disc Sports, will send tracking information to the email provided once shipping has begun.   

Why did I not receive a disc or mini when I joined/renewed? 

  • If you ordered a member disc when joining or renewing your 2025 membership, your membership package will begin shipping in January 2025. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.  

Why did I not receive a member tag when I renewed? 

  • Starting in 2025, member tags will not be sent to all members by default. Stay tuned for information about a member tag drive in 2025.  

I would only like a member tag (or disc, sticker, etc.) with my membership. Is this possible?

How long should it take to get my stuff? Is there a tracking number?

Can I upgrade my membership type after I’ve already joined? 

  • If you would like to upgrade your membership and are current for the calendar year, please contact the PDGA Memberships Manager.  

How do I get a copy of the magazine? 

  • Print subscriptions of the magazine can be purchased when joining or renewing your PDGA membership. If you have already joined or renewed your membership and would like to add on the print magazine subscription, contact the PDGA Memberships Manager.

What happened to the family discount?  

  • The family discount previously applied to members who elected to receive a single printed copy of the magazine per household with multiple members. As the magazine has moved to being a primarily digital product, the family discount is no longer offered.  

I signed up for multiple years- what’s going to happen with my membership? 

  • On September 25th, 2024, we sent a message to all members with active multi-year memberships. If you need additional details, please contact the PDGA Memberships Manager.

Can I sign up for multiple years? 

  • Not at this time. 

What are my membership fees used for? 

Can I add my past events to my profile? 

  • Yes, please contact the Event Support Team so that they can assist you. Please include a link to any official results pages, as well as your PDGA number.  

How do I change my address / name? 

  • If you have an account here on PDGA.com, you can update your own member information any time you like. First, login and select the "Edit" tab under "My Account. If you see phone number and mailing address fields, just update your information, hit the Save button, and you're done. If you don't see those fields, we'll need to link your PDGA membership with your PDGA.com user account. Include your PDGA number and your username in a message to the PDGA Memberships Manager and we will take care of it ASAP. 

I disagree with PDGA policy. Can I get a refund? 

  • PDGA memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. PDGA membership benefits and services are available to you immediately upon completing the registration process. 

How do I update my profile? 

  • To update your profile image, follow the instructions here: https://www.pdga.com/news/show 
  • If you have an account here on PDGA.com, you can update your own member information any time you like. First, login and select the "Edit" tab under "My Account.
