Rancho Del Sol DiscGolfPark

This is the 6th DiscGolfPark established in California and the 28th DiscGolfPark installed in the US.

The Rancho Del Sol Golf Course (previously known as the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course) was designed by renowned architect Pete Dye in 1988. Originally a 27-hole ball golf facility (Mountain, Valley and Lake) that offered players a masterful blend of three 9-hole combinations, it has since been revamped to a more playable but still very exciting 18 hole course. The 3rd 9-Hole Lake Course which has since been left abandoned is now a fully dedicated Disc Golf Course providing a beautiful rolling landscape and manicured fairways. This pro caliber, championship level course is a gem of the Inland Empire built into the mountain at the base of Mt. Russell. It overlooks the surrounding area, the desert and the San Bernardino mountain range in the distance and epic views of the Moreno Valley below. The course has moderately hilly terrain. You experience an ascent on the first 6 holes before playing along the mountain side and then throwing back down the mountain on the breathtaking 1,000+ ft Par 5 Signature Hole #8. A great variety of different throws will be required to navigate these rolling hills and side slopes. Many of the preexisting golf greens are now being used as Disc Golf greens with bunker hazards that come into play on several holes. The short (White) pro level layout has a great mix of par 3 & 4 holes for a par of 60 measuring 7,475' (2,279 meters). The longer (Blue) championship layout will challenge even the best players with seven par 4s and two par 5s for an overall par 65 measuring 10,280' (3,134 meters).
