Description

Variable terrain, tight woods to open fields Good diversity in multi-use area with a 5K track and dog walkers. Navigation can be tough - extreme slopes. On the grounds of a former psychiatric hospital which was torn down in 2006. The rough in the woods can be dense - use spotters.

Directions

Mass turnpike to exit 4, north on Hwy 91 to exit 18, left off ramp to a left on Main St. (Rte 9). Follow signs to Rte 66. Pass Smith College athletic fields to a right on Prince St. (becomes Burts Pit Rd). Course is on right just past community gardens. 1st tee at 2nd kiosk visable from parking lot. Scorecard/maps in the mailbox.
