SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Catrina Allen's hot 2019 season couldn't be dampened by a weekend of coastal rain, as the Minnesota pro pulled away during Sunday's final round of the Santa Cruz Masters Cup to win her third straight tournament.
Allen's final round 3-under par 57 at the DeLaveaga Golf Course took her three-day total to a 2-under par 204 and netted her a $2,000 payday. She averaged 992-rated disc golf over three rounds, and combined with the San Francisco Open she is playing at a 994.5 clip over her last two events. She was also the only competitor in the 26-player Open Women's field to finish the event under par.
Paige Bjerkaas' 999-rated 4-under par 56 moved her into second place, a slot she shared with Sarah Hokom and Paige Pierce after the trio logged 5-over par 211 totals. Madison Walker rounded out the top five at 8-over.
