Description

A dual tee (White & Blue) and dual basket (Red & Gold/Yellow) course on the campus of Lake Sumter State College. Open to the public during daylight hours. Each fairway has 4 options at any given time, providing a wide array of variety. White tees to Red targerts should cater to less powerful throwers, while Blue tees to Gold targets should challenge more advanced players. A mostly wooded course with mild topographical features covering 20+ acres. *Very new as of 10-25-20 - half of the concrete tees have been poured. A few more trees will come down soon. Watch out for smaller stumps (most are painted). LakeHawk is the fifth of six courses on the Lake County Disc Golf Trail project. Many baskets have next tee arrows on the underside. Navigational posts will assist. Temp tee signs expected by early Nov 2020.

Directions

From Orlando; North and West on Hwy 441, through Mount Dora, Eustis and Tavares. On the east side of Leesburg, LSSC is just east of the Leesburg Airport. Turn right into 1st entrance to first stop sign at Math & Sciences building. Turn right into parking area, then left (at blue dumpster) with woods on the right. Park near northern end of lot near turn-around circle. Both #1 & 10 are just inside the woods off of that turn-around.
