PDGA Europe Disc Golf Development Grant Program

PDGA Europe Disc Golf Development Grant Program

Program Description

The PDGA Europe Disc Golf Development Grant Program was launched in March 2022. The purpose of the Grant is to invest a portion of the fees PDGA receives from European Continent Members and events directly back into the continued growth and development of the sport across Europe Continent. The vision of the Grant is to support the introduction of Disc Golf into new Europe Continent countries and its continued development in established European countries.

Grants will be provided to PDGA partner National Associations, local clubs and individual current PDGA members. Materials and equipment purchased with grant funding must become the property of a national or local not-for–profit disc golf, sports or community association or club, and not the individual participants. All projects receiving support must promote PDGA Europe and its contributions as part of their activities.

Guidelines and Eligibility

  • Funding is for programs and projects in European Continent countries only.
  • The types of projects eligible for funding include: new course installations, upgrading existing course installations, initiatives aimed at introducing and teaching disc golf to, and /or increasing the involvement of, women, seniors, juniors, schools, visible minorities and other community groups in the sport, together with other innovative and impactful activities. • Recipients must sign an agreement with PDGA Europe and submit progress reports, including, within one month after project completion a final report for projects lasting 3 months or less, as well as quarterly reports for projects lasting longer than 3 months. These reports should be well written with the intent of publication and promotion by PDGA Europe, and should include photos of the activities, and other supporting information such as press coverage.
