Al “Speedy” was administrator of the Disc Golf Hall of Fame for the past 20 years until his retiring at the end of last year. Being voted into the Hall of Fame this year, he now gets to experience and enjoy the honor he has been giving to all the inductees over the past 20 years!

Speedy began his Disc Golf play in 1987 in Niles, Michigan. Prior to his taking over the administration duties of the Disc Golf Hall of Fame, he was very active with the Indianapolis Disc Golf Club, taught Disc Golf to Boy Scouts and students at the Indiana School for the Deaf.

In 1995 Speedy moved to Atlanta, Georgia and served as Georgia's PDGA State Coordinator while lending his club skills to help grow the Atlanta Disc Golf Organization. He also serves as the Curator of the Headrick Memorial Museum at the International Disc Golf Center.

Speedy continues to be an enthusiastic ambassador for our sport, which he does with passion every day and now he will do it as a member of the Disc Golf Hall of Fame.
