PDGA Amateur Worlds Players Meeting Going Virtual

Out of an abundance of caution due to a rise in COVID-19 and Variant numbers in the Orlando, Florida, area, the in-person players meeting for the 2021 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships scheduled for Monday, August 16 has been canceled.

A virtual players meeting will be streamed live on the official Facebook page as well as recorded and uploaded to the PDGA event info page.

Player safety and concern remains a top priority for the PDGA and the local organizing committee.

Am Worlds has been designated as a modified phase 3 event of the PDGA Majors COVID-19 Requirements and Best Practices policy. The phase 3 overview provides important highlights of the full policy for quicker reference.

After a year off from World Championship-caliber competition due to the pandemic, we look forward to the return of this pivotal PDGA Major. Am Worlds runs August 17-21 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
